THE LGBT CHARTER OF RIGHTS
Want to diversify and improve the quality of your service?
Wondering how to mainstream LGBT issues into your service?
Want to include LGBT people but don’t know how?
The LGBT Charter of Rights is a powerful, easy-to-use tool which focuses everyone in an organisation on the quality of services that they provide for LGBT young people and the wider LGBT community.
The LGBT Charter of Rights was written by and consulted with LGBT young people and the wider LGBT community. It reflects what LGBT people thought organisations could and should do to value, include and support LGBT people.
An accompanying toolkit guides organisations through the steps of the LGBT Charter process, such as improving visibility and awareness of LGBT people; looking at policies; and training.
