Cross Party Group on Children and Young People

The purpose of the Scottish Parliament’s Cross Party group on Children and Young People is: “To ensure issues affecting children and young people are recognised and discussed throughout the workings of the Scottish Parliament, in order to ensure that the needs and rights of children and young people are met throughout Scotland”.

Meetings of the group are attended by MSPs, organisations and by individuals. Children in Scotland provides the secretariat to the Cross Party Group on Children and Young People, with support from YouthLink Scotland. Further details about the role and work of the group can be accessed at::
