All Different All Equal is a Council of Europe campaign across 42 countries to promote participation, diversity and human rights for all and reinforcing the fight against discrimination, intolerance, racism and xenophobia.
In Scotland, the All Different All Equal Steering Group was brought together through an open appeal in the Youth Work Briefing circulated by YouthLink Scotland. The Steering Group successfully secured funds via the then Scottish Executive Youth Opportunities Fund which enabled the All Different All Equal themed conference at Hampden Park to take place.
The conference provided a launch to National Youth Work week in Scotland involving 180 people including;
- steering group members,
- 130 delegates,
- 12 exhibitors,
- 26 facilitators of 11 workshops.
